this product is a colorless tetragonal crystal or white crystalline powder, with a relative density of 2.338 and a melting point of 252.6℃. it can be soluble in water (83.5g/100 ml at 90 ℃), resulting in an acidic solution. the ph value of its 1% solution is 4.6. it is not soluble in alcohol, having no deliquescence. it will melt into transparent liquid when it is heated to 400 ℃, and then become an opaque glass-like potassium metaphosphate after cooling and curing.

it is packed with polyethylene film bag and plastic woven bag, with a net weight of 25 kg/50 kgfor each bag.

purpose:

mainly used in fermentation industry, chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry and food industry etc.

fermentation industry: used as agent for bacterial culture, buffer adjusting agent and nutrients. mainly used in the production of monosodium glutamate, wine, alcohol, citric acid, enzyme preparation, yeast, starch and sugar etc.

chemical industry: used in the production of potassium pyrophosphate and other potash salts.

food industry: mainly used as additives for baking food and nutritional flavouring.

pharmaceutical industry: mainly used as buffer agent.
