this series is a kind of superfine fiber nonwovens made from pp chips through the meltblowing process. meltblown nonwovens have very good oil absorbency as pp fiber is almost hydrophobic but has good oil absorbency and meltblown nonwovens has a high porosity and a large specific surface area. the relevant tests show that it can absorb oil more than 17 ~ 20 times of its own weight. due to these characteristics, meltblown nonwovens can be used as materials for oil absorbing felts, oil absorbing cartridges, oil absorbing cables and oil absorbing paper etc., and are widely used in environmental protection engineering, oil-water separation engineering, port environmental protection and marine ship accident management. additionally, they can be used as dust cleaning materials in industrial production.
